âIyyaka Naâbudu Wa Iyyaka Nastaâinâ (You Alone do we worship and You Alone do we ask for help) Allah Taâala says, âHadha bayni wa bayna âabdi wa li âabdi ma sa-alaâ (This is between me and my slave and me servant will have what he asks for) When he says, âIhdinas Siratal Mustaqim.
When he reached the verse âiyyaka na`budu wa iyyaka nasta`eenâ he could not get past it and wept profusely. So Al-Himsy continued his circling of the Kaâba, and when he got to Al-Hawari again, he was still reciting that verse.
